在深夜的超商裡面，走進了一個看起來七歲左右的小男孩，拿著一疊皺巴巴的鈔票，墊著腳說想要買乾燥劑。通常這個時間都沒什麼人，不過附近的旅館好像有接了一個學校的校外教學旅行團，這男孩也許就是那個旅行團來的吧。

但是大半夜的小男孩來買乾燥劑做什麼呢？

「好的~請問是要做什麼用的呢？」作為詢問用途來推薦不同廠牌的理由，我試探性的問。

男孩猶豫了許久。

「老師說是要給姊姊用的。」

「給姊姊用的？」

「對，不然姊姊會臭臭的。」

實在聽不太懂這種童言童語，我想應該是衣櫃用的乾燥劑吧。於是決定拿兩包衣櫥芬芳乾燥劑給這個小男孩結帳，男孩因為達成任務開新的笑著，蹦跳著離開了店裡。

結果一不小心，翻倒了門口準備丟掉的過期汽水。男孩意外的鎮定，也沒有要哭鬧的打算，於是我趕快衝過去用旁邊的白色毛巾幫男孩稍微擦拭了一下身體。

整條毛巾一下就被飲料染成深紅色。

「沒關係的！」小男孩大聲的說，「不趕快回去老師會生氣！」男孩急忙的站起來道謝，然後很快的拿著乾燥劑跑離開了超商。

我走向門口準備收拾剛剛的殘局。




發現剛剛倒在男孩身上的飲料，




是礦泉水。

Color is powerful. It is emotional, representative, and evokes a mood. The use of color in interior design is one of the most important elements when configuring a space, setting the scene for the room’s function and feel. Some color meanings are obvious: greens for earthy tones, reds for warmth, yellow for sunny rooms. The way we use colors to compliment or contrast each other can create a specific mood, drawing from the following basics of color theory:

Black, white, and grey are used as complimentary or neutral colors in interior design. Their purpose is often to enhance the other colors in the room by providing a subtle background for bolder hues. Accents of bright green or blue can brighten darker color tones, and warm colors such as red or gold can be used to warm a bland background such as grey. Rooms with mostly white or a light color exude open and airy space, while rooms based around blacks or browns create a warm, intimate feel.

老家旁邊那塊空了塊十年的空地，蓋了一間塑身衣工廠。

去年回去過年的時候，就發現有建商在測量一些東西，這次回去才發現原來是蓋了一間工廠，據說是專門生產女生的塑身衣。

現在對塑身衣的需求量好像越來越大，一開始只是生完孩子的產婦想要恢復身材，所以會去購買塑身衣來穿，現在就連一般的少女，為了讓身材曲線變的更完美，也開始紛紛加入購買塑身衣的行列，因此這間工廠可以說是由少女們的希望所蓋起來的夢想生產地。

平常除了塑身衣廠商代表之外，偶爾也會有一些少女(或阿姨)前來詢問能不能用便宜的價格購買他們的塑身衣，但基本上廠長從來都不會答應，除了一個少女。

有一個身材稍微豐腴的少女，經常來找廠長希望可以請工廠幫忙訂做塑身衣，哭訴著因為這個身材，在學校是怎麼樣的遭受霸凌，暗戀的學長不接受她的告白，願意不記代價換來一套量身訂做的塑身衣。一開始廠長也是不答應，但少女持之以恆每天報到的毅力打動了廠長，於是乎最後答應用便宜的價格幫少女製作一套塑身衣。

得到塑身衣的少女，腰圍一下從28縮到25，雖然是塑身衣捆起來的效果，但看起來的確身體有了點曲線，讓少女滿意了一陣子。

然而，少女回去繼續追求學長的時候，發現學長已經有一位貌美的女朋友了。「一定是還不夠瘦！」少女心理想著，於是氣衝衝的跑到廠長那兒，請廠長再幫忙改改塑身衣，再改小一點。

爾後，少女只要一有不如意，就會覺得是因為不夠瘦，就會跑回去找廠長改塑身衣，也許少女自己沒有發現，但因為塑身衣會抑制食慾，擠壓血管，因此少女每一次去找廠長，臉色就變的更蒼白、更憔悴一些。


叩！叩！叩！

『又是那個女學生了吧。』廠長想著。

叩！叩！叩！

『我是不是應該別再幫她了呢...好像只是害了她啊』

叩！叩！叩！

『好吧，這是最後一次了』


「來了！」廠長應著，打開了工廠的小門。

少女現在已經骨瘦如柴，原本圓潤的臉龐現在已經完全凹陷下去，大大的眼球完全浮禿出來，皮膚蒼白的如白紙一般，身上穿著一件相對寬鬆的塑身衣，儘管這件已經是最小的size了。

「廠長...學長說我太瘦了很噁心...」少女說著，廠長驚訝的看著已經不像是人類的女孩，一隻手拿著美工刀，另一隻手拖著倒在地上的，一位穿著相同學校制服的男學生，男學生的手腕上有留著血的割痕，血跡從遙遠的盡頭延綿而來。



「也幫他做一件塑身衣吧...這樣我們就一樣瘦了...」

Interior decorators are creative professionals who can listen to a client and transform a space, utilizing the desires of the owner and the space, light and budget that are available. Designers at the American Society of Interior Designers say their members create the optimum use of space, taking into account aesthetics, safety, ergonomics and functionality.

Interior decorators garner their skills through a combination of education and experience. While many of them may start out with a 2-year degree at a community college, the marketplace has changed so that most interior decorators must have at least a 4-year degree from an accredited design program as well as 2 to 3 years of experience as an apprentice. In addition, interior designers in 23 states and the District of Columbia are required to take a certification exam and get licensed to practice.

A well-rounded knowledge of furniture is a basic requirement in addition to basic skills that apply to safety and ergonomics. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports that solid basic skills will help provide a space that boosts productivity, increases sales and adds to the market value of the property.

室內裝修設計師應該要了解各種基礎元素，比如說光源和色彩的搭配。或是如果要創造一個安全、舒適的空間，對各種家具的認識也是很基本的。根據美國勞工局的報告，紮實的基本功才能夠增進效率、銷售額，以及在市場的價值。

Interior designers must have well-developed people skills to work with clients. In addition to listening to the needs and wants of the clients, designers must be able to coordinate with architects, painters, carpet installers and furniture movers. Designers frequently are involved with electricians, subcontractors and regulators to prepare buildings for inspections. Interior designers often manage installations and must be able to supervise workers.

室內裝修設計師必須要懂得溝通。為了要達到客戶的需求，設計師必須要能夠和和建築師、油漆師傅、地毯商，和搬家公司打好關係。設計師經常要和水電工、包商和監管機構為伍，也經常需要管理和監控這些工程。

Increasingly, interior designers must be able to work with computer-aided design programs to create drawings for contractors to work from. To perform the tasks, designers must be familiar with blueprints and how to incorporate designs into the final draft to print plans that can be followed by contractors. Plans also need to follow municipal code regulations, requiring additional skills in translating those requirements.

To further their careers, many interior designers develop specialized skills that provide them with additional work opportunities and help them market their services. An interior designer can develop skills in plumbing and water use to design kitchens and baths. Others learn more about organization to sell their services as professional organizers. Still others hone their skills in ergonomics and environmentally friendly options that can be incorporated in the final design.

就長遠的眼光來看，很多室內裝修設計師都有一些不同的特色，讓他們在市場上可以做出區隔。比如說學習使用水暖系統的技巧，可以用在廚房和浴廁的設計上。也有一些人會去磨練他們的人體工學知識，以及環保相關設計技巧，都可以用在室內裝修設計的作品上。

爺爺過世了。

爺爺是六十幾年的老菸槍，嘴上說要戒菸也是說了好幾十年，雖說他看起來總是很硬朗，一副無所謂的樣子，但最後還是不得不屈服於肺癌的威力，最後病逝在榮民總醫院的病床上，一顆在世界上亮了八十年的燈泡從此熄滅。

他的生命中沒有留下太多東西，除了滿堂的子孫、他最愛的木頭煙斗。

當然還有滿滿書房、佈滿灰塵的二手書，這些二手書對我們來說有著深刻的回憶。

比如說這本《黑貓中隊—七萬呎飛行紀事》，記得是小學三年級的時候，為了要寫讀書心得報告而挖出來看的書，那時候因為看了封面和簡介，覺得這些U2偵察機很帥，也覺得這些飛行員很帥，所以就決定作為讀書心得報告使用，沒想到超厚一本(對小學生來說)，讀起來簡直痛苦，結果那個暑假還是果斷換書，改看《哈利波特》。

還有這本《紅頂商人胡雪巖》，當時也是聽說古代商場故事神作一本，一定要看，結果看厚厚的一大本，封面也不怎麼吸引人，於是從商場神作變成泡麵神器。

底下有一盒鮮豔的粉紅色盒子，是迪士尼的有聲書，那時候用的還是錄音帶。以前爸媽常常會在睡前拿出來放，當作我們的睡前故事。錄音帶有兩面，一面是中文，另一面是英文，原本是企圖讓我們聽故事學英文，不過通常我們聽完中文版之後就直接睡著了。

還有好多的書，都是好多的回憶。

但是，雖然充滿回憶，但這些書我們都已經看過了，不會再去拿出來看。書籍被創造出來就是要讓人閱讀的，如果我們讓這些二手書待在永遠不會有人翻閱的書櫃上，這些書應該也會覺得很難過吧。

雖然很捨不得，但最後還是上網查了查二手書收購的店家。

Designers almost always charge their clients by the room or by the hour. As you might expect, room structures are more concrete, since you as the homeowner will know exactly how much the overall project will cost. Some designers charge up to $200/hour, and as you can imagine, those bills can add up very quickly.

室內裝修設計師通常都是依照房價或是工時來收費，一般來說，依照房價來收費對於屋主來說是比較可以先行評估預算的。有些照鐘點收費的設計師可能每一個小時就要200美金，你可以想像時間一拉長，你的帳單也會有多長。

The overall price will largely depend on the scope of work, but according to our interior design cost estimator, the average price to hire an interior designer is $3,816.

整體的價格基本上要看整個工作的結構，根據我們的統計，請一個室內裝修設計師平均會花費$3,816元。


2. When are my fees due?

我什麼時候該付錢？

As mentioned earlier, all homeowners should sign a design agreement or letter of agreement with an interior designer. One of the main reasons why is to schedule the exact dates that fees are due. Some designers charge half up front and half once the project is completed. Others like to set up a payment schedule. Also, know that it is typical for you to pay a down payment on the design fee to retain the services of your designer.

3. Do you offer designer discount fees?

Designers have established relationships with manufacturers, retailers, and other designers. As a result, they often get discounts when they purchase products directly. Before you go jumping for joy, know that they will in turn mark up the products to you.

室內裝修設計師們通常會和一些建材商、經銷商和其他設計師有合作關係，所以他們通常可以互相取得一些折扣，在你開心付錢之前，要知道他們的成本是一層一層加在你的身上的。

For example, many designers have a standard mark up rate of 40 percent over their cost. Therefore, a sofa from a local trade vendor that sells for $1,000 retail could cost the designer $500 and could cost you, the client, $700. You are still saving money even with the 40 percent mark up. If your interior designer does offer discount fees, you wouldn’t be expected to pay a designer fee.

If you’re having your first baby, it’s a safe bet you’d feel more comfortable if your doctor had some experience in the delivery room. The same goes for interior designers.

如果妳是一個準媽媽準備要生第一個寶寶，如果妳知道產房裡面的醫生經驗豐富，對你來說一定會比較安心。這個道理也同樣適用於室內裝修設計師上。

Make sure your interviewee has experience working with the room, styles, and budgets that are required for your interior design project. Ask for pictures. Ask for stories. Ask for obstacles. Get any information you need to feel more comfortable with your big interior design project.

要確保你準備要合作的設計師曾經有做過跟你類似需求的案子。跟設計師要他們的作品集、照片等等。盡量取得所有能夠讓你安心請他的資訊。


5. Can you provide a list of references?

能不能提供過去客戶的訊息

If you were interviewing for a job, the company would always ask for a list of references. Just as a potential employer would do, call their references. Talk to their employees. Talk to their past clients. Talk to their current clients. Ask what they are like on the job, ask how they handle pressure or a tight deadline, and ask how they deal with contractors.

當你在面試一個工作的時候，公司常常會要你提供前同事或前主管的聯絡方式。在這裡也一樣，打給設計師的關係人，比如說員工、過去的客戶、最近的客戶，問他們喜不喜歡這設計師的完成品，他們怎麼處理時程問題，怎麼和包商交手。

森林裡，住著大野狼一家人，因為現在人類的活動範圍越來越大，森林裡的動物開始找不到屬於自己的棲息地，於是就開始過著強盜越貨的日子，而生活愉快的人類壓根不知道森林裡面的慘況，依然自顧的過著快樂的生活。

有一天，窮困的大野狼一家人聽說了最近小紅帽要去探望生病奶奶的事情，於是野狼爸爸決定去奶奶家埋伏，想要在小紅帽來臨時同時洗劫奶奶和小紅帽，至少人家人這個月還可以過的下去。

野狼爸爸闖入了奶奶家，感到不太對勁，才發現原來奶奶在今天早上就已經斷氣撒手人寰了。這時候剛好小紅帽抵達奶奶家，敲了敲門。

「奶奶在嗎～？」小紅帽問。

「噢...小紅帽呀...」野狼爸爸努力裝著奶奶的聲音不被發現，「等奶奶一下，奶奶換個衣服...」野狼爸爸靈機一動，決定躲在被子裡假扮生病的奶奶，趁小紅帽毫無防備的時候再下手，野狼爸爸急忙的將奶奶的塑身衣和睡衣穿在身上。

此時突然一陣發熱感，好似被丟進正在運轉的垃圾車，全身的骨頭和肌肉似乎都擠壓變形，大概持續了半分鐘才停下來。

「歡迎使用小仙女壽險，您的資產已經轉移完畢。」這句話突然在野狼爸爸的耳邊響起，隨即又消失不見。

小仙女壽險是最近人類世界正夯的壽險公司，其中最特殊的服務是可以將過世之人的回憶轉移至指定的繼承人腦裡，讓人可以永遠傳承家族的故事。但如果不是親人或指定繼承人的話，轉移就會發生問題。

不適感結束之後，野狼爸爸發現身體不能動，轉頭看了看身邊的鏡子，瞪大了眼睛。

小仙女壽險的系統，把除了記憶的奶奶的所有東西，都轉移給了野狼爸爸，野狼爸爸現在已經變成真正的奶奶了，那個身體行動不便，病痛纏身，終日只能躺在床上看著天花板的奶奶。

小紅帽終於進來，和眼前的奶奶分享剛剛烤的餅乾，雖然奶奶一直都不太能說話，也不能摸摸小紅帽的臉龐，但小紅帽還是很開心可以和奶奶訴說在學校發生的故事。

變成奶奶的野狼爸爸看著小紅帽開心的臉龐，做不了任何事情，而以後的日子，他也什麼事情都做不了了。










五公里外，大野狼的小房子裡，小野狼和野狼太太，捲縮在角落等著丈夫回來。

IIDA(International Interior Design Association) 國際室內設計協會每年會舉辦圖書館室內裝修設計競賽，評分項目多元，除了美感和設計感之外，還要有創意、有功能，以及客戶的滿意度。
